Why Support My Work?

Many Ways To Support My Work

I don’t believe in selling. I believe in voluntary exchange. Other than hard-copies of my books, there is nothing for sale on iaindavis[.]com and there never will be. That said, like anyone else, I also need to pay the bills and I need your help if I am going to continue to provide the content you value.

I am entirely dependent on your support. Everything I write, whether on Substack or on my blog, will always be freely available to everyone. This matters to me. I would rather do something else than paywall my content. I can’t guarantee that my articles for other publications will remain free—it’s out of my control.

Only a tiny proportion of my readers and listeners make donations. I understand that times are hard and I certainly do not want anyone to donate anything they can’t afford. Unfortunately, I won’t be able to continue as a full time independent researcher, journalist and writer unless I improve my income streams. I really do need your support if you are in a position to lend it.

There are no inducements or “exclusive access” advantages for supporting my work. So why bother if it’s all free anyway?

Many of the better known voices in the independent media present the latest research in podcasts and using video. Their efforts are invaluable in trying to bring information to people’s attention and they have a skill set that I certainly don’t possess.

Nevertheless, much of the research they use—often without credit being given—is undertaken by independent investigative journalists such as myself. You may have heard a lot of people talking about public-private partnerships lately. I broke the ground on that research but, with just a few notable exceptions, the little guys like me are rarely acknowledged.

I need your kind donations if I am going to continue that work. James Delingpole and Alex Kriel explained why support for the “grass roots” of independent media and activism really matters.

So, if you think my work is worth it, I hope you will consider donating. For the price of a “buying me a coffee,” you can help to keep independent media alive. Alternatively you could become one of my my paid Substack subscribers.

Whether you can directly support my work or not, just sharing it is immensely helpful. So please do.

Thank you so much for your time.

All the best

I also write a Substack where I often adopt a more irreverent tone. My work remains free on Substack.

Support me via SubscribeStar

You can still use SubscribeStar if you prefer. Unfortunately, time constraints do not allow me to create unique content for SubcribeStar. All my content is available via iaindavis[.]com, my Substack or via other independent outlets who publish my original work which is only available through them. These include Unlimited Hangout, Geopolitics & Empire and UK Column.
